How to install Yay. The AUR helper in Arch Linux for beginners.

In this Tutorial I am going to show you How can you install yay AUR Helper on Arch Linux. You can use yay on any Linux Distro which is based on Arch like Manjaro, Arch Linux, Artix, Garuda Linux etc.

To Install yay follow the Tutorial:

Today I will show you how to install "yay" on Arch Linux.

First Install base-devel and git Package.

Because base-devel contains Development tools to build AUR Packages.

We will use git to Clone yay from AUR.

Now Clone yay using the following command.

git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/yay.git​

Then Change Directory into yay folder.

cd yay

Now type

makepkg -si

To Build the Package.

Then hit Enter.

Now yay installed on your System Successfully.

Now use yay to Install Package from AUR.

Make sure to Read manpage of yay to know more about yay. 

Juse Type man yay to Read the Manual Page.
